Lindsay Kruse’s horse Hesa Rare Runner (Hess)

Do you have a specific warm-up before you run?
Lots of long trotting, and flexing.

What makes your horse special?
He is not very friendly with strangers, but with people he knows and likes, he is a total ham!

What quirk(s) does your horse have?
He doesn’t like ropes! When we get home from a weekend of traveling, he runs and bucks out to the pasture and refuses to acknowledge me or anyone in the corral for at least a day!

What are the 3 most important things you do to keep your horse sound and working all year long?
Make sure that his diet and exercise program stay consistent throughout the year, when traveling I try to give plenty of time to stop and unload for rest breaks plus I drive like a grandma, and give him plenty of time off in the winter months.

If you could run any other horse in the MT Circuit, what horse would you choose and why?
Lindsay Kruse’s horse Lenas Mijo Dulce (Harley), because he is extremely nice and very consistent.
