What is your favorite part of barrel racing and the rodeo lifestyle? I love the competition, keeping horses at peak competition level while on the road. All the great people/friends you meet along the way.

What is your favorite inspirational quote or saying that you use to keep you going during the year? I don't really have a quote. I'm just always looking forward to our ultimate goal of making the NFR, while recognizing and being thankful for all the things accomplished along the way, using them, and the support from family and friends, for the confidence and encouragement needed to keep going.

What is your favorite thing to do with your horses other than barrels? I love spending a little one on one with Tweety, pampering and grooming, light therapy session with the Equinox Photonic Torch, she loves it.

What special qualities does your horse have and what makes him/her unique? Sweet Heart has a way of looking at you when she wants something, ears pricked, she wriggles her nose from side to side, while staring at you. She is the grittiest biggest hearted little horse, she's special and she knows it!

What one piece of horsemanship or barrel racing advice would you give someone trying to run barrels on a professional level? I think you need to learn to rodeo before you hit the road full time. Use your circuit rodeos, set goals, as you reach these, set bigger ones. I think this has been the biggest key for us having the success I've had, in our first year, of full-time rodeoing.

If you horse was a celebrity who would he/she be? Taylor Swift, because she's prim 'n' proper, has some blond moments, but is always badass!
