Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals? CM Dynamite Miss Tiv (Dixie). She is a six-year-old mare that is a half-sister to my daughter Shelby's horse.

List a few of your horse(s)' major accomplishments. Dixie won the Lewistown and Fall Bozeman Pro Rodeo and qualified for the Montana circuit finals her first year of rodeo competition.

List a few of your major accomplishments. Making the 2015 circuit finals! Back in the day, I placed in the NHSRA finals and competed in the CNFR.

What is your favorite part of barrel racing and the rodeo lifestyle? I enjoy just about all of it: the preparation and training of your horse, competing, and hopefully enjoying a little success. I really appreciate the relationships I have developed over the years with many of the competitors.

What is your favorite inspirational quote or saying that you use to keep you going during the year? Trust your training.

What is your favorite thing to do with your horses other than barrels? I like to just ride out in the pasture and enjoy my horse.

What special qualities does your horse have and what makes her unique? Dixie has shown a lot of confidence for a young horse competing in the rodeo atmosphere.

What one piece of horsemanship or barrel racing advice would you give someone trying to run barrels on a professional level? Find the best trainer in your area, ride with them and learn from them as much as you can. For me that is my good friend Peggy Schluter.
