Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals?
Fortunes Last Xtrem, aka Luna, coming 6 yr old. Sweet Heart Special (2003 chesnut mare, by My Special Bear, Im Testy Too by Isaw Kirk) the ride that got me to the finals is recovering from EPM.

List a few of your horse(s)' major accomplishments in 2016
Luna had to step in at the deep end when Sweet Heart went out in September, her most notable accomplishment in her short pro career was Pendleton, just her 7th rodeo, she placed 7th in the long round 4th in the short round and 4th in the average. Also placed 4th in Tulsa OK.

What is your horse(s)' style when running barrels? What special qualities does your horse have and what makes him/her unique?
Luna is still developing as a barrel horse, but is definitely more of a push style, she really wants to turn. She applies herself 100 % to her job every time, and for her limited competition, she has been amazingly solid in that she makes the same trip every time. Luna has an aloof personality, can be grumpy, not the friendliest of horses but boy does she love her job!

What is your favorite part of barrel racing and the rodeo lifestyle?
I love competing at rodeos. With so many talented horses and riders, you know you have to bring your A game every time you run, and I love the challenge this presents! I love the people involved in rodeo.

What is your favorite inspirational quote or saying that you use to keep you going during the year?
You are the designer of your own destiny! Be aggressive, ride tough, don’t quit!
