What horse are you taking to the finals? Sues Perfecto “Reba”. She’s an S ranch raised mare, push style,  weighs 1100

How long have you been a WPRA member? 3 years

Do you raise your own horses? Or do you purchase? Are you looking for specific bloodlines? Purchase

What are your conditioning and workout routines for both you and your horse(s)? I like make sure they are in good shape before running a calf: rope the dummy a lot , practice depends on how my horse is working- if she’s good then I only run a few - I play guitar and rope as well and clean houses so my right shoulder has been bothering me - I get massages, do somatic workouts go to chiropractor as well as lifewave patches

When you're headed to the rodeo what do you listen to: inspirational podcasts, music, audio books? We listen to all sorts of music on playlists - no new country lol

Do you have favorite spots to stop at while on the road? Fav spots to stop … hmmm we usually don’t stop anywhere and like to drive all day and night to make it back for work or family responsibilities

What are your favorite memories/highlights and obstacles you faced getting to the 2023 circuit finals? Favorite memory is walking up and replacing at White Sulphur Springs, winning the breakaway in the mud with my personal best time. Also coming back from Missoula. Obstacles: leaving Killdeer Labor Day not making the circuit finals was a real low for me. (WSS was the day after we got home to thankful things turned around there for me.)

What or who are you thankful for? Thankful for my family, my faith and trust in God,  my husband( Toby) my kids,  Sarah Verhelst, my mom, my traveling partners, Tim and Colleen Moulett and Dennis Tryan. My moto is “keep gratitude above expectation”
