Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals? Dropit Likeitz Hott (Scandal)

What is unique about their personality and what are their strengths? She is full of personality and a little mischievous. She knows she’s a good one. You have to tie her up very well or she will untie herself. Her strengths include how well she “scores” and her hustle.

How tall are they and what is their weight (thought it would be fun to compare)? Scandal is 13.3 hands and extremely heavy. She is as wide as she is tall.

What are your favorite memories/highlights and obstacles you faced getting to the 2025 circuit finals? One of my highlights included winning Billings. It was the first year they included breakaway in their summer rodeo and it was a fun rodeo to win. My favorite memories include rodeoing with my family. We make the best memories every summer. Obstacles included a lot of missed calves! At one point this summer, I had gone to 25 rodeos and won about $2,000 dollars at those 25 rodeos so I was thankful to make the circuit finals.

How long have you been a WPRA member and how many circuit finals have you qualified for? 5 years. This is my 5th consecutive circuit finals.

When did you start competing in breakaway? 8 Years Old

Do you raise your own horses? Or do you purchase? Are you looking for specific bloodlines? My dad purchased Scandal for me about 5 years ago. I look for bloodlines similar to Scandals now.

What are your conditioning and workout routines for both you and your horse(s)? Scandal is an easy keeper and gets a lot of long trotting. I weight train 4-5 days/week.

When you're headed to a rodeo what do you listen to: inspirational podcasts, music, audio books? All the above. We spend a lot of time in the truck so we change it up often!

What or who are you thankful for? I am thankful for my family! My kids love to rodeo more than I do so that makes it much more fun. My
parents, Clay and Roxie also help watch my kids at a lot of the rodeos we go to.

Do you have favorite spots to stop at or favorite snacks while on the road? We love going to local coffee shops, Taco Time, huckleberry milkshake stands, and getting a good steak!

Who do you travel with (including pets or companion horses) and in what kind of rig? I travel with my husband Landon, and three kids (Honor, Wyatt, and Win). We have all of our rope horses and kids ponies. Truck and trailer

What are your hobbies or other sports do you compete in? Hobbies include skiing any chance we get.
