What are the most important qualities you look for when picking a prospect to make a rodeo barrel horse? 
Definitely a good mind set. I like a horse that is level headed. Conformation is also pretty important to ensure longevity. 

What are the 3 most important things you do during the year to keep your horse sound and working all year long?
Three most important things are exercise,  nutrition, and doing all the necessary things to keep him healthy (chiropractor, shoeing)

What is the one item in your tack room or barn that you would never want to be without?
a brush

What is your horse’s greatest strength? He can run!

Biggest weakness? He likes to turn...A lot 

What is the most unique habit or behavior your horse has?
Nudging right before and after his run. He gets in a zone and sometimes I’m just in his way.

Hesa Rare Runner (Hess)

If you could make a run on any other horse in the Montana Circuit what horse would you choose and why?
Probably have to be Scooter, he is and pretty cool horse. 

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that we may not know (a special talent, hobby, interest, etc.):
I used to do 3 day eventing, western pleasure, and hunter under saddle! 

What is your occupation (how do you fund your barrel racing/horsey habit)?
I’m a student at UM Western. I am blessed blessed to have amazing parents that help me out with this crazy addiction:)

Who or what event has been the biggest influence in your rodeo career? 
There have been many people that have inspired me me to be better. My horse has been the biggest teacher for me this last year. We had many ups and I think even more downs. It was a very hard and emotional year, but I believe that this year we are much stronger as a team. I I am completely blessed to have him in my life.
