Casey and Preacher at the Lynda Ottun Memorial

Tell us about your family.
My Husband Ross, and I live in Fromberg, Montana. We have been married for 3 1/2 years. Three years ago Ross and I founded the It's All About "U" Barrel Racing Championships. It's All About "U" Barrel Racing Championships is a fresh barrel racing experience in a professional environment. Riders success in seasoning their horses, or in fine tuning one it is a direct result of the professional environment of the UBRC! The UBRC strives to help horses and jockeys get to their peak performance! We wanted to give Barrel Racers a place to go to Season their young horses for the Rodeos, to run their Rodeo horse on good ground, and give racers that may not want to haul to Rodeos a Rodeo Type Atmosphere. We offer Tour Stops around the State with Added Money and Prizes at each race. The Racers also receive points at each Tour Stop that accumulate through out the year in Each Division and end the year at our Finale in September. We are continually working to make the UBRC better and give Racers a great place to come and Run their horses.

Tell us about your horse(s) (age, personality, where you got them, etc). Chicka Moon Frost AKA-"Preacher" is the horse that I am currently running. He is so fun to ride. He has his own style and is very quick. He is a little mischievous and loves attention. Ross's sister Tiffany Wagner started him on the barrels and I started hauling him this year. Ross ropes on him too.

Driftin Barbette AKA "BeBe" is a Mare that we have raised. My Dad put the first few rides on her and I have been riding her since she was Two. We have roped on her, and she is Ross's favorite branding horse. We are hauling her to the barrel races and she has a really neat style.

Sparklelkyavegasdiamond AKA "Crissy" is a super nice mare. We got her from Sid & Janet Erickson. Ross rode her for them and started roping on her and liked her so much, we bought her. She is ready to go to the barrel races .
