What are the most important qualities you look for when picking a prospect to make a rodeo barrel horse? 
When picking a prospect to make a rodeo horse I look for proven bloodlines, a strong hip and my Mom’s advice.
 
What are the 3 most important things you do during the year to keep your horse sound and working all year long?

Proper nutrition A good horse shoer Adequate exercise and rest time

What is the one item in your tack room or barn that you would never want to be without?
Pop-up barrels

Protective boots: Classic Equine
Feed (hay, grain, supplements): Grass/alfalfa hay, Woody’s Summer Heat, Animal Element

What is your horse’s greatest strength? She “hunts” the barrels and will turn on any type of ground.

Biggest weakness? She can be too ratey in certain setups

What is the most unique habit or behavior your horse has?
Disco is very laid back and very spooky all at the same time.

What horse(s) are you going to be riding at the Circuit Finals?

If you could make a run on any other horse in the Montana Circuit what horse would you choose and why? I would choose
my Aunt Carrie Murnion’s horse Junior because he has a similar running style to my mare and looks like fun!

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that we may not know (a special talent, hobby, interest, etc.):
Morgan Kundson, Amber Crowley and I were the reserve calf dressing champions in Ennis, Montana last summer!

What is your occupation (how do you fund your barrel racing/horsey habit)?
I am a first grade teacher.

Who or what event has been the biggest influence in your rodeo career? 
My parents have been my biggest influences in my rodeo career. My mom is a phenomenal horse trainer and has taught me everything I know about horses and barrel racing. My dad has taught me to enjoy each run and if it doesn’t go as planned there is always another rodeo.
