Tell us about your horse(s) (age, personality, running style, where you got them, etc). Soda (WAH Colonel Jiggs), age 11, is very consistent and fun to run. He is my daughter Kahley’s horse.

Tell us about your rig and traveling partners. 4 Star 4-horse and Chevy Duramax. Traveling partner is Kahley and my french bulldog T-bone.
What do you like most about being on the rodeo road? The competition.
What do you like least about the rodeo road? The uneven ground conditions
What was your favorite 2010 Montana rodeo/committee (what special things did the committee do)? NILE, because of the money added and how hard they worked on making the ground fair.
What was your best rodeo moment of 2010? Winning Kalispell because I didn’t have a great run so it was extra special right when I needed it.
Besides pro rodeos do you compete in other rodeo or barrel racing organizations? I have two futurity prospects for 2011.
What are your rodeo plans in 2011? Futurities and a few rodeos.
What kind of tack and bits do you use on your horse? Cervi medium shank with a tie down.
What kind of saddle do you ride in? Marlene McRae
What do you feed your horse? Equine Senior with Necessity supplement and grass/alfalfa hay.
What do you do for a warm-up and do you have any superstitions or rituals before a run? Ha! Usually have to get the buck out of Soda he gets a little full of himself. Not superstitious.
What do you do during the week to keep your horse in shape? Ride him about 4 days a week long trot and a lot of loping.
Tell us about your family. Husband, Bud, contractor; son, Dylan, is a senior in high school, and daughter, Kahley, who is nice enough to lend me her horse!
What’s your occupation, besides barrel racing? We own a construction company.
