What are the most important qualities you look for when picking a prospect to make a rodeo barrel horse?
Conformation, pedigree and the feet are extremely important!

What are the 3 most important things you do during the year to keep your horse sound and working all year long?
My horseshoer is key, veterinarian, and making sure they have good hay in front of them. I also like to give them a good break after a long season.

What is the one item in your tack room or barn that you would never want to be without?
My horses would say treats but for me its my junior cow horse bit. I use it on everything.

What is the most unique habit or behavior your horse has? He tries to nibble at me every time I saddle him.

Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that we may not know (a special talent, hobby, interest, etc.):

I used to team rope a lot more than barrel race and won the MJRA in team roping as a heeler.

What is your occupation (how do you fund your barrel racing/horsey habit)?

Who or what event has been the biggest influence in your rodeo career?
My family had race horses when I grew up and I enjoyed the speed and excitement of watching a fast horse.
