What are the most important qualities you look for when picking a prospect to make a rodeo barrel horse?  
Conformation, Bloodlines, Temperament, and Heart
 
What are the 3 most important things you do during the year to keep your horse sound and working all year long?  
1. Keep in her good shape. 2. Have a good feed program. 3. Regular visits to my vet to make sure she is feeling her best.
 
What is the one item in your tack room or barn that you would never want to be without? 
My Dave Elliot snaffle bit.  I ride it on everything!

Feed (hay, grain, supplements):  Alfalfa Hay, Total Equine & Oxy-Gen Oxy-Max 
 
What is your horse’s greatest strength? Her heart!  Licorice is all heart and she tries her hardest every time she goes in the arena. 
 
Biggest weakness? Her manners!   
 
What is the most unique habit or behavior your horse has?
  Being so temperamental on the ground but when I step on her that all goes away.  She is the nicest horse that I have ever ridden.  
 
What horse(s) are you going to be riding at the Circuit Finals?  Fames Licorice Kiss
 
If you could make a run on any other horse in the Montana Circuit what horse would you choose and why?  I would like to make a run on Christy Fullen’s horse Firewater Spirit. I love Firewater Flit horses and this horse looks so honest and fun to ride!
 
Tell us an interesting fact about yourself that we may not know (a special talent, hobby, interest, etc.):  I am a tech geek. I enjoy learning new skills on all of my devices.
 
What is your occupation (how do you fund your barrel racing/horsey habit)?  Executive Secretary for the Northern Rodeo Association
 
Who or what event has been the biggest influence in your rodeo career? My parents were my biggest influence they gave me the important foundation.  My dad taught me horsemanship, which is the backbone of everything I do in barrel racing.  
There is so much more to rodeoing that just running barrels and my family is there for me no matter what I need.  
I couldn’t do it without them.
