Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals and what are their lifetime earnings?
My Mom Is Classy (Ritzy) 8 year old sorrel mare 14.1 hands; her lifetime earnings $65K
What is your horse(s)' style when running barrels and what's unique or fun about their personality?
She is all forward motion and all try. She isn’t flashy at all but as efficient as a horse can be in her turns. No wasted motion. She always wants to go go go. She loves a job no matter what it is. She loves ranch work and never wants to get left at home. She is not overly friendly and is very opinionated and extremely confident. We have a deep respect for one another.
What are some favorite memories/highlights and obstacles you faced getting to the 2020 circuit finals?
Obviously 2020 consisted of a lot more miles and a lot more competitors. This is my first time in the Montana Circuit so it kind of felt like my rookie year all over again. It took me until the last rodeo to seal a spot at the Circuit Finals. Accomplishing that goal was the highlight of my season.
When you're headed to the rodeo what do you listen to: inspirational podcasts, music, audio books?
I listen to the radio and audio books. I really liked JoJo Moyes this summer.
