2020 Montana Pro Rodeo Circuit Finalist Hannah Sharon
Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals and what are their lifetime earnings?
I'm planning on running my 6-year-old mare Miss Montana 229 (2014 Brown Mare by Fifteen Hundred Trump x Summer In Montana by Mr Eye Opener, Montana Bred). "Izora". I am not sure what her lifetime earnings are, I just started entering her last winter, so not a lot. I will also bring JL Redwood, a 7-year-old gelding that I ran most of the summer.

What is your horse(s)' style when running barrels and what's unique or fun about their personality?
Izora's running style is four wheel drive. She never quits moving, it's very light and effortless, I just have to totally stay off of her head and let her work. Redwood has a more ratey style, he is a really really strong, big horse, while Izora is little and petite and runs on top of the ground.

What are some favorite memories/highlights and obstacles you faced getting to the 2020 circuit finals?
This year was so tough, since there were so few rodeos, and Redwood got hurt early September so I thought my chance at making the circuit finals was gone. I had entered Dickinson, ND and was planning on turning out, but Delon was going anyway so I decided to go and run Izora instead of paying the turn out fine. She ran a 17.0 and won 2nd. She is still green, I just started running her this year and she has only been to a few rodeos. I couldn't believe how well she clocked, and I realized what a nice horse I have. So, that was a memorable rodeo for sure.

When you're headed to the rodeo what do you listen to: inspirational podcasts, music, audio books?
If I'm not listening to Octane, I listen to a lot of books on tape, Open by Andre Agassi in particular probably 20 times. I also listen to a lot of motivational podcasts.
