Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals?
Maggie Poloncic's "Digger" (Prime Time Ta Streak, 2013 AQHA Gelding by Prime Talent x Expressly Six by Streakin Six, Montana Bred, PESI enrolled, CSR $25K Avg. Bonus Eligible)
What is your horse(s)' style when running barrels and what's unique or fun about their personality? Amelia is a big push style mare that floats across the pen. Amelia has a big motor and is pretty serious about her job. She is a sweet mare to be around, as long as you treat her like the queen she is! Tiny is a super playful horse. He can really be a handful at times but is a super affectionate horse towards his person.
What are some favorite memories/highlights and obstacles you faced getting to the 2020 circuit finals? This year was one for the books, so many miles that I traveled alone and some with new people that quickly became friends. An injury kept Amelia on the sidelines for a busy part of the summer, however, things worked out for us and she still got me to my first circuit finals. Amelia started off the season strong and it was such a fun ride. I learned so much and hopefully can apply it to my next season to keep her healthy and ready!
When you're headed to the rodeo what do you listen to: inspirational podcasts, music, audio books? I listen to all sorts of music going down the road. I enjoy podcasts on the long drives, Feed Room Chemist and Morbid are a couple of my favorites.
