Which horse(s) are you taking to the finals? Dunit Metallic “Catman”

What is unique about their personality and what are their strengths? How tall are they and what is their weight (thought it would be fun to compare)?  Catman loves iced coffee and beer, he always tries his best for me. He is 14 hands tall and 1000 lbs.

When did you start competing in breakaway? Since junior high rodeo

How long have you been a WPRA member and how many finals qualifications? Since 2021, this is my first circuit finals.

Do you raise your own horses? Or do you purchase? Are you looking for specific bloodlines? I purchase young horses that are started. I look for horses that are cowbred and will stay under 14.1 hands tall.

What are your conditioning and workout routines for both you and your horse(s)? I ride every day when the weather allows, practice roping calves and roping my dummy.

When you're headed to the rodeo what do you listen to: inspirational podcasts, music, audio books? Music

Do you have favorite spots to stop or snacks while on the road? Wherever there is coffee!

Who do you travel with (including pets or companion horses) and in what kind of rig? Mostly by myself in my 1993 Sundowner two-horse trailer and my 2500 Chevy. 

What are your favorite memories/highlights and obstacles you faced getting to the 2024 circuit finals? Going through a summer semester of dental hygiene school while rodeoing. Favorite memory is leaving Great Falls at 4am to get to Whitehall slack and winning the breakaway.

What or who are you thankful for? EVERYTHING. My parents and my horse Catman.

What are your hobbies or other sports you compete in?  I am in dental hygiene school
